P2P Appeal When Buyer Marked Paid but Funds Are Missing
When a buyer marks an order as paid, the release decision should still depend on your own bank record. A message, receipt image, or pressure in chat is not proof that funds are settled.

Use your bank statement as the source of truth
Check the bank account named in the order and confirm whether a matching credit has posted. Pending, reversed, or unmatched transfers should not be treated as settled funds.
Open an appeal before the order timer pushes you into a rushed decision. State the order ID, expected amount, and that no matching bank credit is visible.
Stay inside the platform dispute flow. Do not accept requests to continue on messaging apps, send OTPs, or release assets in exchange for a promised later transfer.
Evidence package
Prepare a recent bank statement or screen recording showing the relevant time window, the P2P order screen, and the chat record.
If funds arrive later, update the same appeal thread so the reviewer sees one consistent timeline.
Risk boundaries
This guide is general information, not legal, tax, investment, or account-recovery advice. If a transaction involves third-party funds, fraud reports, gambling, money laundering, sanctions, or unknown counterparties, stop the transaction and contact the bank, the platform's official support channel, or a qualified professional.
Do not share passwords, 2FA codes, seed phrases, private keys, full card numbers, or remote access. A legitimate support process should not require secret credentials.

Field Notes: Your Bank Record Is the Source of Truth
When a buyer marks paid but your bank shows no incoming transfer, do not release assets based on a receipt image, SMS screenshot, or promise that the transfer is “processing.” Open the appeal before the timer expires and attach a fresh bank statement or in-app transaction list that covers the expected payment window.
Keep the timeline short and objective: order ID, buyer name, expected amount, payment method, time marked paid, bank balance or statement view, and any chat request to move off-platform. If the payment arrives late, update the same appeal rather than opening several separate tickets.
